Hands-on Learning: Can Outdoor Activities Improve Science Scores?

Hands-on learning is a key component of effective science education, but traditional classrooms often limit these experiences. Outdoor learning in primary schools offers a unique solution, transforming nature into a giant science lab and boosting student engagement.

Can Outdoor Activities Improve Science Scores? The answer is yes! Picture this: students collecting insects in a vibrant meadow, their curiosity bubbling as they classify different species. Imagine them conducting mini-experiments by a crystal-clear stream, their bodies active as they unlock the secrets of water flow. At Hilston Park, outdoor learning goes beyond textbooks. Our programs connect science concepts to the natural world, fostering a deeper understanding and a love for scientific exploration.
