A Cap Is Approved at Gates — T1, Range Boards, Golden Sample, FAI
A cap is not approved by a photo. It is approved at gates — and the first one decides whether the programme is corrected cheaply or set up to fail.
The gates at GCX:
1. 3D render — proves the drawing was understood
2. T1 sample — first parts off the real tool: material, dimensions, fit on your production bottle
3. Range boards — the physical colour and defect limits you sign
4. Golden sample — sealed by both sides; every production lot is judged against it
5. FAI — with the first production batch
Run the parts against the approval checklist before you say yes: alloy certificate, measured dimensional report, full plating stack with nickel barrier, adhesion, colour against the board, assembly on your line.
